I’m a bit of a stationary freak so when I saw these lovely prints on some bulldog clips at Wilkinsons I knew I had to have them. If you have one local to you I’d recommend snatching some while you can since they don’t seem to be available on the website and are fairly cheap. If only everything Wilkinson’s did was this sweet! Comments are off SubscribeUltra-mobile PC’s are the most practical thing a weakling like me can own. Before I used to aquire bruises due to lugging my old heavy laptop round town and to the pub. Nowadays I don’t carry have to carry monstrous desktop replacements like I’m a modern version of Atlas.
Throughout one of my scrutinous adventures through the bowels of Google I stumbled upon the Asus EEE PC. At first I dismissed it for the small amount of memory and unfamiliar operating system. Comments are off SubscribeI’m not a massive Radiohead fan, so the reason ‘In Rainbows’ caught my attention is that the album is being distributed on the internet for free! Looks like they are taking pointers from David Bowie who believes that music should be free for fans and that bands should make money from merchandising and touring.
I agree that music should be free, since there’s something unwholesome about disagreeing with David Bowie. There is way too much money flowing into that industry and although I do understand that even band members have to eat (except Beck - he has no anus), I don’t think it would hurt them to have to work harder to earn their keep.
